Welcome to Guidance Services

Students are assigned to guidance counselors alphabetically by last name. All students will be scheduled for a consultative visit with their guidance counselor at least twice during the school year. Any student who needs to see a counselor or the Assistant Principal for Curriculum is to complete a Guidance Request Slip and give it to the guidance secretary. Requests will be responded to in a timely manner.

All testing is coordinated through the Guidance Department. Some standardized tests are optional and require fees. Students can discuss their particular testing needs with a counselor. Test dates and other pertinent information concerning the SAT and ACT are available in the Guidance Office. The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Tests (FCAT) and/or Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) are required for graduation from high school.
